Accelerating Riboswitch Engineering for the Development of Human Performance Biosensors - A Preview of Strateos’ Presentation at SynBioBeta 2021

SynBioBeta 2021 – the Global Synthetic Biology Conference – will take place between January 25th - 27th 2022 in Oakland, California. Strateos’ own Daniel Rines, Ph.D., Senior Director, R&D Strategy, will be delivering a presentation highlighting how Strateos' smart lab platform accelerated riboswitch engineering to develop novel biosensors.

AUTOMATION CAN OVERCOME BOTTLENECKS IN SYNTHETIC BIOLOGY PIPELINES

Daniels’ talk entitled Accelerating Riboswitch Engineering for the Development of Human Performance Biosensors outlines a recent client collaboration with the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) where Strateos’ automated cloud lab was leveraged to accelerate rational design of novel riboswitches as biosensors that recognize the biomarker serotonin. Owing to their modular organization, riboswitches are ideal for engineering de novo sensing elements for use in synthetic biology.

Learn how Strateos’ automated synthetic biology modules supported rapid, iterative screening of RNA sequences in modular pbuE expression system and E. coli extract-based cell-free protein expression assays.
